What is the 'Chimney Effect'? The chimney effect is a natural airflow process that helps regulate temperature and air quality inside your enclosure.

As the air inside warms up (from your heat source), it becomes lighter and rises toward the top vents. As that warm air escapes, it draws in cooler, fresh air from lower areas, creating a continuous cycle of airflow—just like a chimney.
